Brescia is about 100 km from the two Milan international airports Linate and Malpensa, 80 km from Verona “Valerio Catullo” airport, 45 km from Orio al Serio Bergamo airport  and 20 km from “Gabriele D’Annunzio” Montichiari Brescia airport.

 

Milan Malpensa International Airport (MXP)

 

Malpensa is the main airport in Northern Italy and arrivals include flights from most of the world. It is located about 100 km from Brescia. To get to Brescia, travelers must take a shuttle to Milan central station and then a train to Brescia.

Milan Linate International Airport (LIN)

 

Linate airport is located about 70 km from Brescia. To get to Brescia, travelers must take a shuttle to Milan central station, and then a train to Brescia.

Bergamo – Orio al Serio International Airport

 

Bergamo airport is the main low-cost flight airport in Italy. Five times a day, a shuttle connects the airport with Brescia downtown. Direct flights from Amsterdam, Athens, Barcelona, Berlin (Tegel), Bratislav, Brussels (Charleroi), Bucarest, Budapest, Copenhagen, Cracov, Dublin, Düsseldorf, Eindhoven, Frankfurt (Hahn), Glasgow (Prestwick), Hamburg, Hannover, Katowice, Krakov, Liverpool, London (Luton and Stansted), Luxembourg, Madrid, Munich, Newcastle, Paris, Shannon, Oslo, Katowice, Sal, Sevilla, Stockholm, Timosoara, Valencia, Wien, and Zaragoza.

Verona “Valerio Catullo” Airport

 

Verona airport is located about 80 km from Brescia. To get to Brescia, travelers must take a shuttle to Verona central station, and then a train to Brescia. Direct flights from Amsterdam, Barcelona, Brussels, Chisinau, Frankfurt, London, Munich, Paris, Tirana, and Wien.

Brescia Airport (VBS)

 

Brescia airport mostly supports a national traffic. Nevertheless, Ryanair operates a direct flight from London (Stansted). A shuttle service connects the airport with Brescia downtown.

By train

 

Direct rail links between Brescia and Paris, Wien, indirect links with Nice, Zurich, Basel and Stuttgart (via Milan), Munich (via Verona), and Budapest (via Venice). All trains coming from Milan, Venice, and Munich stop in Brescia. For information, see TrenItalia.

 

 

How to reach the workshop venue

 

 

The workshop venue is located in San Faustino 74/B. From the rail station, it takes about 20 minutes by walk, 10/15 minutes by bus, 7-8 minutes by taxi. The map below shows the walking directions from the station. If you choose the bus, you can take the number 17 (direction “Ospedale”) stop “Faustino 76”, the number 10 (direction “Concesio”), stop “Battisti”, the number 7 (direction “Caino”), stop “Lupi di Toscana”, or the number 2 (direction “Pendolina”) stop “Pusterla”.
