Open Competition for Young Scholars

If you send a detailed abstract, or so much the better a full paper to participate in EPOS, and you are a PhD. student or a Post-Doc scholar under 35, you can participate to an open competition to have financial support for covering (at least partially) your travel and accommodation expenses.

The total amount of EPOS budget on this item is 1000 euros.

Candidates are requested to send their abstracts or papers as soon as possible to epos@eco.unibs.it, and in any case until May 31. They are requested to mention in the e-mail text their willingness to participate in the competition. Moreover, they are requested to attach details about their position and age. A necessary condition to be considered for the competition is to attach a web link to a research doctorate’s or a research centre’s home page, so that official information about candidate’s position can be directly accessed by EPOS scientific committee. After the selection, the winner will be requested to fax the ID card or Passport to +390302988893.

Among the candidates, the scientific committee will select the best paper/presentation, according to its relevance for EPOS topics. If the competition ends in a draw, the total amount will be equally split between the winners. Preference will be given to scholars outside Italy.
